Billericay Park is a busy ballpark for baseball teams in Indiana. Aspen Impact developed a multi-year facility plan to giude the acquision and management of baseball, soccer, volleyball, softball, basketball, football, and rugby venues throughout the City of Fishers, Indiana.

Board development and strategy at Felege Hiywot Center in Indianapolis, Indiana
The Martindale-Brightwood community of Indianapolis is home to one of the city’s most inspirational stories, the rise of the Felege Hiywot Center. This center teaches nutrition, gardening, and agricultural science to youth and parents in the area. On behalf of the Indiana Youth Institute, we have guided strategic planning, board recruitment, and impact measurement initiatives at the center. The center has received special recognition from the Governor of Indiana and local and national press coverage for its inspirational work.

Fundraising guidance for Carmel Clay Public Library in Carmel, Indiana
Nonprofit organizations often seek new approaches to finance their missions. For the Carmel Clay Public Library Foundation, we guided the board and staff in the development of fundraising strategies, community outreach plans, individual board roles, and donor research. These efforts enabled the Foundation to expand its base of supporters and raise money for the Carmel Clay Public Library’s operations and strategic goals.

Resource development for Soap Box Derby racetrack in Indianapolis, Indiana
Soap box derby races began in Indianapolis in the 1930s. By the 1960s, attendance reached 15,000 at the annual city championship. As other forms of entertainment emerged, the racing tradition declined, and eventually the track fell into disrepair. A spirited team is now reviving the tradition. We created a presentation on the derby’s history and guided the group’s leaders in their pursuit of infrastructure support. The derby now has a newly paved track near the city’s Riverside Park, plus canopies and viewing areas. Races feature local children who build cars with adult mentors.

Teaching at Uniwise School in Dongguan, China
Overseas assignments enable us to trade insights about history, government, economics, and culture with friends and colleagues from other countries. Anna and Bryan braved the humidity and enjoyed teaching classes at this school in Dongguan, which is in China’s Pearl River Delta.
