Roles

Bryan created Aspen Impact in 2003, motivated by the desire to apply business skills and creative thinking to groups that had high aspirations but that faced challenging circumstances. He has led projects for more than 250 clients worldwide. He enjoys guiding projects that encourage innovation, compassion, and practical results.

Here are examples of the work he does for clients:

  • Guide strategic planning teams and create action plans for organizations
  • Teach leadership and management skills to executives, managers, and board members
  • Make customer service programs more engaging and responsive
  • Conduct studies on social policy issues for foundations
  • Design fundraising initiatives coupled with presentations for potential investors and supporters
  • Create systems and tools to deepen and measure a program’s impact
  • Develop marketing messages, logos, and other collateral to enhance a client’s image

With his guidance, clients have achieved exceptional gains. Some have been profiled in national media outlets such as NBC and Time Magazine. Others have won lucrative grants from internationally renowned foundations. Many have launched successful rebranding programs that have yielded greater public exposure and higher audience participation. Clients report long-term benefits from projects, such as useful management tools, engaged boards, attractive marketing materials, and practical and effective action plans.

Bryan shares ideas and insights as a writer and speaker. He has published articles on mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, performance measurement, foreign investment, and executive leadership. He has been a guest teacher at universities such as Harvard, Indiana, Michigan, Peking, and Purdue, and for business and economic development groups in the United States, Germany, and China.
